We welcome author Michael Blanding of the book The Gospel According to Hobby Lobby, an exploration of the Green family, the evangelical founders of the Hobby Lobby chain of craft stores, and their influence on politics and religion in the United States. Blanding uses the family to trace the rise of Christian nationalism through the courts, the schools, and the halls of government, and examines how the family’s money has impacted religious liberty and human rights in their pursuit of "biblical truth." It also delves into the family's controversial involvement in the trafficking of biblical antiquities for their Museum of the Bible in Washington, DC.
